There are only 5 days left to purchase your tickets for the The Sierra Pelona Valley Vintners Association 2nd Annual Vintners Festival & Jazz In the Vineyard Event on Saturday, April 26, from 11am-4pm, at Reyes Winery in Agua Dulce.
As the ONLY Wine Festival to be held this year in the Santa Clarita Valley, our event will feature over 30 local wineries, breweries, spirit distilleries, and food purveyors paired with live jazz music performed in the high desert vineyard setting of Reyes Winery. Also, back by popular demand, MCigar returns to hand-roll his highly coveted stogies. The Festival will also have an Arts & Crafts Exhibit featuring local artists including the fine woodworks of winemaker Carlos Bacelar. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from this year’s festival will benefit College of the Canyons, Institute for the Culinary Arts, scheduled to open fall 2014.

Regional food purveyors will include Le Chene French Cuisine , Portos Bakery,Truffles n Toffee , California Bakery , Rattlers BBQ, Double D Cupcakes, Vincent Hill Station, Baracoa Lounge, Wolf Creek Restaurant & Brewery, Mi Dolce Vita Cupcakery, George’s BBQ, Smokin’ BBQuties Grill Team, Mikey’s Momma’s BBQ, and Gourmet Blends .
The headliner for the SPVVA Festival’s Jazz-In-The-Vineyard Event will be the 2013 Latin Jazz Grammy Nominee for Best New Artist, Quattro,a unique ensemble that blends Latin, Pop, Jazz, and Classical; their debut album is “POPZZICAL”. Also performing will be recording artist and critically acclaimed jazz vocalistLauren Koval accompanied by the Paul McDonald Trio, performing both Latin Jazz and Standards from the Great American Songbook. From the Central Coast, Tropical Brazilian Guitarist Jon Stephen, will be strumming his own genre of all original compositions ranging from smoky jazz to breezy bossa nova to serrano-like flamenco, many from his most recent recording is Out of the Blue. Originally from New Orleans, Stephen has played with everyone from Doctor John to the Neville Brothers. The Los Angeles local band of musicians, Still Moving Project, will be for a second year to play their fun, eclectic mix of all, original material.
